The Mean Machine Tom Tryon Fifteen years later Felson takesBurt Reynolds is "The Mean Machine" in this Australian day bill film poster purchased by us directly from a New Zealand cinema. Interestingly the film poster features a long description about the film which we have not seen before. From the year 1974 it tells the story of an imprisoned football pro who is forced to organise a team of convicts for a match against the guards. There are similarities here with the Dirty Dozen.
